David Terrar – CEO
David has over 30 years of experience in the field of IT software and services, having worked in a variety of sales & marketing management, business management, and operational roles throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. After an Applied Physics degree at University College London he spent nine years at IBM, and then performed director and senior manager roles at Cyberaid, CSI, IMI/Brook Street Computers, Interactive, DataWorks, Indus, Science Systems and CODA. Most of his career has been involved in selling and implementing Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP), Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO), financial and commercial software solutions. He has worked with SSA's BPCS, IBM's Mapics, Dataworks' Dataflo, Interactive's Infoflo, Impresa, EMPAC, Curator, CODA and Oracle Financials, applied in a variety of industrial, manufacturing, commercial and government sectors. A production engineer by original training, David has over 30 years of experience in the field of IT software and services. Within the IT sector he has held roles of sales manager, operations manager and development manager, whilst beyond pure IT he has been MD of an engineering company and the European marketing director for an industrial controls company. He has worked for ICL, DEC, Allen-Bradley, Groupe Bull, Interactive, DataWorks and Indus. A Fellow of the Institute of Operations Management, as an independent consultant he has implemented manufacturing, Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP), Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and finance systems in English and French speaking countries all over the world. His IT applications experience is diverse – from development and implementation of ICL’s OMAC, through IBM's Mapics to Fourth Shift, Impresa, EMPAC, Epicor’s Avante to Oracle Applications – all applied in a variety of industrial, manufacturing, commercial and government sectors. For the last 5 years he has been involved with deploying social media, web 2.0 tools and cloud based solutions for the enterprise.
